Paternoster Ovens for Plastics and Adhesive Technology

For drying and tempering large quantities of components in production lines where space is limited, Will & Hahnenstein GmbH in Herdorf provides customised oven solutions featuring circulating shelf systems, also known as paternosters.

The continuous movement of the shelves, combined with horizontal cross-flow ventilation, ensures particularly uniform temperature distribution throughout the oven chamber. This helps maintain consistent quality in both the components and adhesive bonds.

The operator can control the paternoster directly in indexed operation or use a search function to retrieve specific trays and components.

By adding worktables with extraction systems, the circulating-shelf drying oven can be expanded into a fully equipped workstation. Tools and component carriers remain inside the oven, preventing them from cooling down.

The size and number of shelf carriers, as well as the required heating and air-recirculation equipment, can be adapted across a wide range to suit application-specific requirements, component dimensions and batch sizes.
